What made you interested in Real Estate?
I’ve always enjoyed helping people make important life decisions. Real estate gives me the opportunity to combine service, guidance, negotiation, and problem-solving while helping clients navigate one of the most significant financial decisions they may make.
What is your favorite part about this industry?
The relationships. Every client and transaction is different, and I enjoy getting to know people, understanding what matters to them, and helping them move confidently toward their goals.
What was your career before real estate?
I retired from the U.S. Air Force after nearly 24 years of service, with experience in law enforcement, recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, and operations leadership. I later continued my career in federal human resources and testing operations.
What were the three things you were responsible for in your career prior to real estate?
- Leading and developing people.
- Advising individuals and organizations through important decisions and challenges.
- Managing operations, programs, and teams with a strong focus on accountability, service, and results.
What is your greatest strength?
Listening. I take the time to understand what people actually need before recommending a solution. That helps me provide clear guidance, strong representation, and dependable service.
What degrees do you have?
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management, an Associate in Applied Science in Human Resources Management, and an Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice.
What is your favorite area restaurant?
I enjoy several restaurants throughout the Triangle, so it’s hard to pick just one. I especially enjoy finding good local restaurants in Raleigh and Wake Forest.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
The North Carolina coast is always high on my list, especially the Outer Banks and Carolina Beach. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new places, cultures, and food.
How do you eat an Oreo cookie?
Double Stuf, with a cold glass of milk. No complicated process required. 😄
