Don Baucom REALTOR®

Originally from Monroe, North Carolina, Don attended Wingate University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. He served as a local firefighter for a couple of years and later as a Deputy Sheriff in his home town for eight years before moving to Federal law enforcement. After 30 years in law enforcement, he retired

and pursued a second career in real estate where he could apply the same principles that guided him in public service; honesty, loyalty, dedication, perseverance and the ability to help others in times of need. While it is true, there are differences between law enforcement and real estate, there are common characteristics that a broker and an officer should share. Buyers and sellers, alike, deserve someone that sets high standards and protects their interests. They need someone that is fair, trustworthy and reliable in their dealings. These are traits that he promises to bring to any transaction.

Buying a home is a huge financial investment. As your Realtor, he will listen to your wants and needs and execute a plan that makes your buying and/or home selling experience smooth, efficient and successful. Through his guidance, professionalism, and knowledge, he is certain that he can provide you with the best quality of service possible. He has access to the most current real estate technology available. He will ensure that you have up-to-date and reliable information on which to base your decisions and make your real estate dreams a reality.

In his leisure time, he enjoys family time with his wife, a Wake County teacher, and their children. They enjoy traveling to places far and near. More often they can be found working on a home improvement or gardening project.
